While you're away, I'll visit your home to feed and care for your cat or small pet according to your instructions. You can count on me to be there for your pet at every scheduled visit, and that means peace of mind for you. I offer 15 or 25 minute pet sitting visits so that you can customize care to fit your budget and the specific needs of your pet.

* Pet sitting service is not available for dogs unless they are already regular, weekly, dog walking clients.

I leave a time slip at each visit noting when I was
there as well as any important details about the visit.

Pet sitting also includes (if needed):

• litter box or cage maintenance
• special care for young, elderly or sick animals
• administering medication
• accident clean-up
• watering plants
• filling outdoor bird feeders
• taking in mail & newspapers
• turning on/off lights, opening & closing blinds
• taking out trash/recyclables

pet sitting rates

15 minute visit
• one visit - $11
• 3 or more visits a week - $10 ea.

25 minute visit
• one visit per day - $16
• 3 or more visits a week - $14.50 ea.

* As of October 1, 2012, Rhode Island's 7% sales tax applies to pet care services - such as grooming, training and pet sitting, but not including veterinary services.

supplies
I use oxo-biodegradable poop bags for litter box cleanup. You will need to provide me with all other necessary supplies including food products and cat litter while I am sitting for your pet.

administering medication
I am experienced in giving medications by mouth and by injection. Administering medication or performing any medical procedure to your pet is subject to my consultation with your veterinarian and with your signing of a waiver.

initial interview
I will be happy to set up a complimentary "get to know you" visit to meet you and your pet. During our initial get together we can go over the details of your pet's needs and I can answer any questions you might have about my pet sitting services and rates. I can also pick up your keys at this time if you'd like.

key pickup & return
Allowing me to retain a copy of the key to your home ensures that you are able to make pet sitting reservations by telephone or by e-mail whenever you require my services. And if you have an unexpected, emergency need, all you have to do is call. If you do decide that you want your key returned upon completion of your initial pet sitting reservation, there will be a fee of $8.00 applied for picking it up again for any future reservations. Specific arrangements will be determined upon your needs.
